4th of July Parade

Every July Fourth, the Capitol Hill BID participates in the Capitol Hill Community 4th of July Parade that runs along 8th Street, SE, between I Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. The BID’s “men in blue” toss out beads, candy, and other goodies to those who have lined the streets to watch the parade. Join us next July 4th as we celebrate America’s independence on Capitol Hill!

Starting in 2026, the BID has taken on the organization of the parade as well!
