Flowers don’t generally make up an entire meal, but they are absolutely essential to almost every plate of food. Flowers are one of the main ways in which plants manipulate animals into carrying out vital services for them, and if you know what to look for you can guess how a flower is pollinated. We will look at the different parts of the flower and how they contribute to its function and to the life cycle of flowering plants, and talk about how plants that do not flower manage to reproduce.
