Weekend Evening Safety Ambassadors

Capitol Hill BID has launched increased safety measures in the neighborhood with Weekend Evening Safety Ambassadors.

Funded by the Safe Commercial Corridors FY25 grant through the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Public Safety and Justice (DMPSJ), two Safety Ambassadors will be patrolling Capitol Hill Thursday - Saturday from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

The duty of the Safety Ambassadors is to deter criminal activity with their presence and enhance the sense of security among residents, visitors, and businesses during peak merchant hours.
