Recap: CHBID Annual 18th Annual Membership Meeting
Capitol Hill BID hosted the 18th Annual Membership Meeting virtually via Zoom on Tuesday, February 23.
Thank you to everyone who joined us live on Zoom or Facebook yesterday for the 18th Annual Membership Meeting!
The meeting began with inspiring remarks from Chairman of the Board Don Denton about the dedication the BID has had to providing quality services throughout difficult times. Councilmember Charles Allen spoke on the resilience of Capitol Hill and Deputy Mayor John Falcicchio gave a keynote speech, standing in for Mayor Bowser. BID Staff Patty Brosmer, McKenna Pugh, and Andrew Lee reflected on the challenges and successes of the past year and highlighted the many ways our community has been Stronger Together.
All Board Members with expiring terms were officially re-elected to the board for additional 3-year terms and we are welcoming Michael Warner from DCanter as a new board member!
