The groovy buzz started in the summer of 2006 with the paint renovation of the historic 1900 wood Victorian house located on 8th St., SE, The bright new color scheme announced this would be something fun and different for the Capitol Hill Community.

Today Groovy dc is located in the heart of Eastern Market Main Street on 321 7th St, SE. We sale unique cards from small and independent companies locally and from other states, our gifts you will not find at a typical stores. We carry greeting cards, boxed stationery, journals, day planners, albums, calendars, local souvenir items, balloons for all occasions and party supplies.

We have home accessories such as candles, candleholders, glass art, picture frames, barware, cocktail & wine glass sets, martini shakers, cocktail and guest napkins. When you find that special gift, Groovy dc will have everything you need to wrap it up in beautiful papers, tissues, bags and ribbons. We take pride in highlighting and supporting local artists, small stationery and gift companies.
