The speaker will be Professor John Rennie Short, School of Public Policy, University of Maryland Baltimore County. Dr. Short will address the changes in how office work is now done because of COVID and how that affects housing, commercial real estate, and future development. The types of choices that are made during this post-pandemic time, Dr. Short says, will affect the types of companies and people that cities such as Washington, DC, are able to attract and retain. The presentation will be followed by a reception that provides an opportunity to visit with Professor Short.
