On Sunday, May 4th, Shelter is hosting Modestman Brewing for a special “May the 4th” event. Join us as we feature a slew of out-of-galaxy beers, alongside Star Wars-themed music, movies, food specials, cocktails, Star Wars games for the family, and even costume contests!

The star of the show is MEGA: The Death Edition, a collaboration with Corks & Kegs in Richmond, Virginia. This triple dry-hopped Hazy Double IPA is loaded with the Falconer’s Flight hop blend! Shelter will be the only location outside of the brewery pouring drafts of this special collaboration. In total, we’ll pour 4 Modestman drafts, plus have cans available for sale.

This year, to turn this event into hyperdrive, we’re adding even more fun to the festivities! In addition to the featured beer, you won’t want to miss:

Prizes for the costume contests include: a Star Wars Lego set for the winner of the children’s contest, and a $50 gift certificate and 4-pack of beer for the winner of the adult contest! There is no admission fee for this event. All featured beers will be available a la carte.
