Jean Leon Wine Cellars Wine Tasting Dinner. at which guests will enjoy a decadent five-course menu prepared by award winning Executive Chef David Sierra exclusively for this event, with pairings by Sommelier/GM Gustavo Iniesta.

Winery Director Mieria Torres will guide guests through the wines, sharing her family’s passion for creating these exquisite wines that are modern, yet deeply rooted in and devoted to tradition established by Jean Leon. Each course will be paired with a different Jean Leon Cellars wine selected by Schneider's and Travis Vernon from Well Crafted Wine and Beverage Co. to truly showcase the beauty and flavors of these velvety red wines.

Jean Leon had been making wines in the Penedès region of Catalonia since the early 1960s, served in the founder’s renowned iconic Beverly Hills restaurant, La Scala. But they gained wider fame in 1981 when Ronald Reagan chose them for his inaugural dinner. It was then that many people discovered the incredible history of this man who came from nothing to create a wine empire. The Jean Leon winery pays homage to its creator by naming its wines after his adventures, such as the Le Havre estate wine, the 3055 organic wine (the license number of the taxi he drove in NYC) and the Gran Reserva La Scala.
