For centuries, composers have drawn on the sounds of our planet, revealing and recreating experiences of the natural world. Today they also create spaces for contemplating our planet’s uncertain future. In this specially curated program of mostly American composers, Chiarina invites listeners to reflect on the complex wonder and fragility of nature while traversing a range of musical styles.
