ART ALL NIGHT LIGHTS UP CAPITOL HILL

Art All Night returns to Capitol Hill on Friday, September 11, from 5:00–10:00 PM, with both Barracks Row Main Street and Eastern Market Main Street bringing art, music, fashion, and creativity to the neighborhood. Make a night of it and explore activations throughout both corridors!

On Barracks Row, step into The Art of Music, an immersive celebration of the sounds, styles, and cultural impact of music from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and today. From disco and new wave to hip-hop, rock, pop, and contemporary hits, the experience will blend visual art, music, fashion, and nostalgic influences for a high-energy journey through the decades.

Over at Eastern Market, the evening will feature art and activities throughout the corridor, including Relume’s America’s Next Top Upcycler Design Competition, a Community Fashion Runway and Vintage Market, hands-on crafts, community weaving, Capitol Hill Art Gallery, vendor market, and pottery. Live music will also fill the neighborhood with performances from Herb Scott outside Eastern Market and Renée Collins Georges at Mr. Henry’s.

With plenty to see and experience within walking distance, visitors can explore both Barracks Row and Eastern Market for a full evening celebrating Capitol Hill’s creative community during DC’s citywide Art All Night festival.
